Kroger makes cage-free eggs more affordable

The grocery giant is launching its own private brand of cage-free eggs to make it easier for consumers to purchase the alternative to conventional eggs. Kroger, which has pledged to sell only cage-free eggs by 2025, plans to introduce the new items under its Simple Truth and Simple Truth Organics lines.
