The Walmart Academy is one of the largest employer training programs in the country with hundreds of thousands of employees having graduated from the program. The program is designed to turned out better, more happy employees. It can also provide workers with the skills to move up the ladder and increase earnings. It is not, however, the cure for what ails low wage workers and the middle class in the U.S.
