A Whole Foods opens new dark store in Brooklyn

Whole Foods has opened a facility in Brooklyn, NY,  to be run as a “permanent online-only” location. The grocer previously ran some of its locations as dark stores in response to heavy online demand. Amazon reported that its online sales tripled year-over-year in the second quarter.
