Activist investor added to Unilever board

Unilever has added Nelson Peltz to its board of directors. Mr. Peltz, whose Trian Fund Management holds a 1.5 percent stake in the consumer packaged goods giant, is expected to advocate for Unilever's diverse businesses to be split into separate operating units.
