Activist investors want retailers to expand paid sick leave

Activist investors are beginning to put pressure on retailers to expand paid sick leave days for workers at a time when some chains are looking to cut back. Trillium Asset Management, a CVS shareholder, has demanded that the company provide sick leave for all its employees. Kroger and TJX have also seen similar proposals from investors.
