Ahrendts leads 'town square' makeover of Apple Stores

The redesign effort by Apple's retail chief Angela Ahrendts and design chief Jony Ive is being revealed in San Francisco's new flagship store which features more areas for customers to gather and socialize, including a next-generation Genius Bar — dubbed the “Genius Grove" — shaded by a canopy of ficus trees.
