All Free Clear Detergent Is First Laundry Brand To Use NaviLens Technology for Those With Vision Problems
January 15, 2025
Soon, all free clear detergent will be the first laundry brand to use NaviLens technology. This cutting-edge addition to packaging will take the form of a QR code that can be scanned to assist those with vision problems — and all who may need help learning about a particular product or service.
According to a press release, all free clear is the first laundry brand in the United States to incorporate NaviLens technology on its packaging. This colorful square will prominently feature on the product.
This particular technology allows those with vision problems the opportunity for more independence while shopping. NaviLens can be accessible by a person with sight limitations without having to focus on a QR code. Then, the item is explained verbally to the person using the technology. The beauty of this particular technology is that it is accessible to all, not just those who are sight-impaired.
“With NaviLens technology on our all free clear MIGHTY PACs original packaging, we aim to make laundry more accessible so people can complete this essential, everyday task with greater ease and peace of mind,” said Philipp Schaffer, corporate senior vice president and regional head of Henkel Consumer Brands North America. “We are pleased to make laundry care more inclusive — from the store to home.”

This new scanning technology will be located on the front of the packages of all free clear Mighty Pacs. These pre-measured detergent packs allow for convenience while doing laundry for all consumers, but particularly, those with sight limitations. This technology tells users the product name, how to use it, and where it is located within the store.
“Our partnership with All Free Clear Laundry Detergent marks an important step in offering NaviLens technology in everyday household products, enhancing the shopping experience for all consumers,” said Javier Pita, CEO of NaviLens.
“It is our mission to empower people who are blind or have low vision through our cutting-edge technology. This collaboration represents another stride toward expanding NaviLens accessible codes to more everyday environments, positively impacting the daily experiences of millions,” Pita added.
Customers can generate up to 10 codes completely free of charge through https://accessibleqrcode.navilens.com.
