Amazon restores service after going offline

Amazon.com has restored its service after thousands were unable to access the site, according to Downdetector. About 80 percent of those reporting issues said they had trouble accessing the website, 15 percent encountered difficulty logging in and five percent got hung up while trying to check orders out.
