Amazon said to be opening its first supermarket in February
December 16, 2019
Amazon’s first non-Whole Foods grocery store is under construction at 6245 Topanga Canyon Boulevard in the Woodland Hill’s community of Los Angeles, an affluent area consistent with Amazon.com’s core demographic. Interestingly, the site is only 1.7 miles from a Whole Foods, supporting the theory that the company will experiment with a different merchandising mix than what is found at the natural foods grocer.
