Amazon Sales for Black Friday and Cyber Monday Combine Into Extended Event
November 6, 2023
The Amazon sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday has been officially announced by the e-commerce retailer, and it changes up the formula from last year’s holiday event.
Set to begin on Friday, Nov. 17, the e-tailer will be extending its deals over a longer period than last year, providing customers with more time to grab a bargain. Amazon will end the event with its Cyber Monday weekend deals, starting Saturday, Nov. 25, and ending Monday, Nov. 27, for a total of 11 straight sale days.
The event will feature some of the year’s lowest prices so far on a variety of products. Customers can expect to find deals from well-known brands like Samsung, HP, ASUS, Dell, VTech, Canon, GoPro, Fujifilm, and Simple Modern. Amazon also noted in its press release that customers will get up to 49% off select Vitamix blenders, up to 40% off KitchenAid appliances, and up to 35% off Shark vacuums, Bosch tools and accessories, and Garmin products.
Amazon Sale Bonuses and Extras
To keep consumers checking back regularly, “the retailer said it will drop new deals ‘as often as every five minutes during select periods’ throughout its Black Friday and Cyber Monday events. It will also release a batch of them during the first-ever Black Friday NFL game — a matchup between the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins — which will air on Prime Video starting at 3 p.m. ET. ”
To make it easier for customers to find deals that interest them, Amazon offers personalized recommendations. This includes the Buy Again deals feed, which showcases deals on products previously purchased by the customer, and the Keep Shopping For feature, which provides deal recommendations based on browsing history.
Customers can also receive personalized deal notifications from Alexa up to 24 hours in advance on eligible items within their Wish List, Cart, or Save for Later. By asking Alexa questions like “Alexa, what are my deals?” or saying “Alexa, buy it for me,” customers can keep an eye on personalized deals throughout the season and even make purchases.
