Amazon settles case claiming it kept workers in the dark about COVID cases

Amazon.com has agreed to pay $500,000 in a case in California where it was accused of failing to inform workers of the numbers of COVID-19 cases at its sites. The settlement was the first of its kind under a "right to know" law passed in California.
