Amazon to keep 125K temp workers on its payroll permanently

Amazon.com has offered to move 125,000 workers it hired on a temporary basis to permanent full-time status as it continues to try to keep up with increased demand for products created by Americans shopping online instead of in stores as COVID-19 cases have climbed across the nation.
