Amazon’s plastic mailers mess up recycling operations

Amazon has shifted to using more plastic mailers as it attempts to reduce the amount of cardboard boxes it uses. Unfortunately, consumers are attempting to recycle these packages, which get caught in machinery and require humans (added cost) to get them out.
