American Apparel replaces Dov Charney with female CEO

Dov Charney's much-debated stewardship of American Apparel has come to an official end. The board, which removed Mr. Charney from his CEO position in June, has decided not to reinstate him. Retail industry veteran Paula Schneider will take his place.
