American Eagle Outfitters forecasts lower than expected holiday sales

American Eagle Outfitters forecast sales for the holiday quarter in the mid-to-high teens, below the 21.5 percent jump expected by analysts. The retailer expects to report $600 million in operating income for the 2021 fiscal year.
