Americans expect prices to go higher

Sixty-six percent of Americans expect inflation to get somewhat or much worse over the next year, according to a Washington Post and George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government survey. Nearly 90 percent said they have changed personal buying habits to stretch their dollars.

Waffle House workers in Conyers, Georgia, are now on their third day of striking over what they call the company’s unfair policies.
