Analyst: FTC to Scrutinize Food Lion/BI-LO Deal

Karen Short, an analyst with BMO Capital Markets, says the Federal Trade Commission will be taking a close look at any merger between Food Lion and BI-LO since a combined company would have the leading market share in 14 of 17 markets where both companies operate stores.
