Apple: Publishers Were Already Dealing With Amazon Pricing Issue

Apple claims that publishers had already begun to take steps to deal with concerns about Amazon.com's pricing of eBooks before it ever started talks with them. The government claims Apple engaged with five publishers to raise the price of books.
