Apple Stores are overrun with demand for replacement batteries

Apple's solution to counter its recent battery slowdown problem was to offer owners of phones replacement batteries at $29 each. The offer, however, has set off a rush to Apple Stores resulting in hours-long waits for service, even though store staff in many locations have set up "triage-like systems" for dealing with battery customers.
