Applebee’s Offers Free Meals to Active & Retired Military for Veterans Day

Applebee’s has announced that it is honoring the men and women who served in the military by giving them all free meals on Veterans Day.
A press release announced that the casual dining business is providing Veterans and Active-Duty Military with a special Veterans Day meal on Monday, Nov. 11. For the 17th year in a row, guests may choose from delectable entrées at Applebee’s locations nationwide. The promotion is only available for dine-in.
In remembrance of the country’s service members, the casual dining chain has provided more than 11.7 million complimentary meals on Veterans Day so far.
Seven well-liked entrées are available on the 2024 Veterans Day menu, including:
- 6 oz. Top Sirloin
- Classic Bacon Cheeseburger
- Chicken Tenders Platter
- Double Crunch Shrimp
- Fiesta Lime Chicken
- Oriental Chicken Salad
- Three-Cheese Chicken Penne
“At Applebee’s, Veterans Day is one of our favorite days of the year,” said Tony Moralejo, president of Applebee’s, in a statement accompanying the press release. “We’re honored to welcome our nation’s heroes and thank them for their service and sacrifice with a complimentary entrée as a small token of appreciation. Thank you to all who are serving and all who have served.”
Customers who take advantage of this promotion will also receive a $5 Bounce Back card, which can be used at a later date.
Applebee’s Pick 6 Promotion
Before the Veterans Day promotion, the casual dining chain announced its Pick 6 promotion. The promotion was in partnership with the NFL.
“Beginning Monday, Oct. 7, and through the rest of the NFL season, guests will have the chance to score six FREE Boneless Wings every Monday — only after a Pick 6 takes place during any NFL Sunday games the day before — with a minimum purchase,” the chain’s press release states. “A Pick 6 during any NFL Sunday game will unlock a free six-piece order of America’s Favorite Boneless Wings the following Monday for both dine-in and To Go.”
There is a limit of one order of six free boneless wings per check or online order. A minimum purchase of $10 is required to redeem the promotion. For more information on Applebee’s boneless wings, visit bonelesswings.com.
