As others shed stores, Kohl's adds them (although smaller)

From Penney and Macy's to Abercrombie, retailers are closing down hundreds of stores in a strategy to realign for the growth of e-commerce. But in an interview with Fortune, Kohl's CEO Kevin Mansell said that he believes more — albeit, smaller — stores are the answer. With the help of new technology, says Mr. Mansell, the chain hopes to better support the company's e-commerce efforts and keep its retail brand front-of-mind with consumers.
