Chase Binnie is CEO of RetailWire, where he leads editorial coverage of retail innovation, technology, and leadership for industry professionals. With 15+ years in digital media and business operations, he works as a retail technology consultant, journalist, and podcast host, helping brands understand the intersection of technology and retail strategy. Chase co-founded SEO Counselors, a marketing agency focused on SEO and web design, and brings that technical expertise to his analysis of how retailers and technology vendors are reshaping the industry. His work focuses on the strategic decisions that matter most to retail executives, brand leaders, and technology marketers.

His formal education includes sociology studies at the University of Minnesota and multimedia art at SCSU. His mission is to provide immense value to RetailWire, its partners, and its readership, while expanding into new territories and reaching new audiences with new types of content.

Chase enjoys traveling “off the beaten path” and has backpacked throughout the US and South America. Currently, he lives in Northwest Arkansas with his wife and two daughters, where he enjoys bouldering, cycling, and anything outdoors.
