AutoNation to take on CarMax with used car dealerships

The leading auto dealership group in the U.S. is addressing a weak new car sales environment by staking a large investment in the pre-owned vehicle market. Within AutoNation's plans to invest as much $500 million to expand its U.S. presence is the establishment of a new line of used car outlets, dubbed AutoNation USA.
