Dream on Me Industries, which sells baby cribs, strollers and other products to retailers including Amazon.com, Target, and Walmart, has won the rights to Buybuy Baby’s trademark and domain at auction. Dream on Me’s winning bid is temporary and could still be topped at an upcoming auction that includes Buybuy Baby’s physical assets.
Dream On Me Almost Wins Buybuy Baby
In a surprise turn of events, Dream On Me is the current top bidder for Buybuy Baby, but that doesn’t cement the deal yet.
Dream On Me is a relatively small retailer in New Jersey that opened its operations in 1988. The brand is currently a major player in the baby care industry that offers the following brands of baby products:
- Dream On Me
- Evolur Baby
- Sweetpea Baby
- TailZzz
- Hannah & Sophia
- Slumber Baby
Currently, Everyday Health Media has been selected as the backup bidder to Bed Bath & Beyond’s liquidation.
