Barilla Brings Back ‘Love Pasta’ To Celebrate All Forms of Love

Whether it’s a romantic relationship, the love between a parent and child, or even celebrating the love of oneself, Barilla has brought back its “Love Pasta” as a way to celebrate all forms of romance. A press release states that the heart-shaped pasta is crafted with the same high-quality ingredients that the brand is known for.

According to the release, Barilla commissioned a survey in 2024, which found that “61% of Americans consider sharing a special meal their favorite way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, and 63% say enjoying a meal together — whether at home or in a restaurant — is their preferred way to express love in everyday life.”

Therefore, to allow families to enjoy this experience in the comfort of their homes, the company has brought back its Love Pasta as a symbol of “joy, love, and togetherness.” To help customers decide what to pair with the unique pasta shape, the company has created a series of special recipes for customers on its website.

Barilla Says Food Is a ‘Universal Way’ To Celebrate Love

The pasta company, founded in 1877 by the Barilla family, says that food is a “universal way” to celebrate love for another. By cooking a meal for someone, you show them they are special. The family firm believes in this concept.

“At Barilla, we believe that love comes in all shapes, and food is a universal way to celebrate it,” said U.S. Pasta Category Marketing Director Angie Cotter. “We have a long history of crafting unique pasta shapes that bring people together around the table.”

She continued, “For example our Limited Edition Barilla Snowfall Pasta released in December of 2024. We’re returning Barilla Love for its third year with expanded availability because of the heart and passion that consumers have for the shape and the love it represents. Whether you’re sharing a meal with a partner, family, or friends, Barilla’s pasta makes it easy to celebrate the people you care about and fill the table with joy.” 

The brand’s Love Pasta will be available for a limited time while supplies last, from mid-January through February, on shelves at select retailers nationwide, on Amazon, and featured on menus of select restaurants nationwide.
