November 1, 2024
Just in time for the holiday season, leading ice cream retailer Baskin-Robbins has created a new flavor that hits sweet, savory, and crunchy notes all at once. Along with this new addition to its menu, the retailer is heralding the return of its beloved Turkey Cake just in time for Thanksgiving.
This all-new dessert, inspired by a cheeseboard, is the chain’s Flavor of the Month called “Brie My Guest.” Per a press release, Baskin-Robbins shared that the unique flavor palette of Brie My Guest combines brie and burrata-flavored ice creams, mixed with almonds, pistachio pieces, and apricot swirls.
Brie and burrata-flavored ice creams provide subtle savory notes, while almond and pistachio pieces add a delightful crunch. Finally, the apricot swirls give a pop of tangy sweetness to the creamy dessert.
Jerid Grandinetti, vice president of marketing and culinary at Baskin-Robbins, stated in the release, “Holiday gatherings are about sharing memorable experiences, and our Brie My Guest and Turkey Cake do just that. Our new Flavor of the Month is a bold twist on the best parts of a cheeseboard that will delight your guests and spark conversation at the table.”
