Big chains pressure liquor stores in the Lone Star State

Large chains such as Spec’s and Total Wine & More are grabbing share of the spirits market and more chain competition may be on the way if the Texas legislature passes a law allowing publicly traded companies such as Costco, Kroger and Walmart to sell liquor.
