BK parent to acquire Firehouse Subs

Restaurant Brands International (RBI) has reached an agreement to acquire Firehouse Subs for $1 billion in cash. The deal will add Firehouse's 1,200 locations to RBI's roster of restaurants: Burger King, Popeyes and Tim Hortons.
