Black Friday Sales Post Increase Over 2008

Sales on Black Friday were up 0.5 percent, according to ShopperTrak. Sales in most regions across the country were up although the Northeast saw sales dip nearly five percent as rainy weather may have discouraged many shoppers from venturing out.
