Burger King Is Giving Away Free Chicken Sandwiches on December 27th
December 24, 2024
Burger King continues the holiday spirit of freebies and presents, as the restaurant announced that it would be giving away free chicken sandwiches.
Allrecipes is reporting that this Friday, Dec. 27, Burger King fans can snag their beloved Original Chicken Sandwich at no cost with any purchase totaling $1 or greater. Loyal BK fans will find the one-day-only deal to be the perfect end-of-year treat, allowing them to enjoy one of BK’s best offerings without breaking the bank.
There’s a reason why the Original Chicken Sandwich from Burger King has endured over time. It includes a breaded, seasoned chicken patty, fresh tomato and lettuce, and mayonnaise on a toasted bun with sesame seeds. While it constitutes a satisfying meal by itself, we’d contend that it’s even better when accompanied by a serving of BK’s renowned fries or those special Churro Fries.
While this giveaway of the Original Chicken Sandwich does conclude the last complete week of daily deals, it is not the final offering from the fast-food giant this year. In the final days of the 31 Days of Deals campaign, one more surprise awaits, so watch the app and your inbox for more free, flame-grilled delights.
Is Burger King Experiencing a ‘Death of Loyalty’?
Despite this uptick in freebie promotions, it is undeniable that the already cutthroat fast-food industry has been exacerbated by macroeconomic factors like supply chain issues and widespread inflation, the latter of which is prompting financially burdened consumers to scrutinize the value offered by chains more carefully.
A recent Marigold survey, referenced by QSR Magazine, highlighted the challenges that lie ahead for many of the country’s most recognizable fast-food brands, including Burger King, depending on current loyalty trends and initiatives.
Survey results indicated that 37% of respondents reported a decrease in loyalty or a switch in fast-food brands over the past year. Additionally, one-third of the respondents deemed the marketing content “disconnected from their actual needs,” while nearly 40% expressed dissatisfaction with irrelevant marketing efforts aimed at them.
Marigold’s data indicated that 79% of respondents were more inclined to interact with brands that worked hard to provide personalized messaging — specifically, high performers like McDonald’s and Nando’s. Getting tailored and pertinent communications that resonate with your individual preferences and requirements can determine whether a sale occurs or an app is abandoned.
