California Pizza Kitchen files for Chapter 11

California Pizza Kitchen has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection to help "reduce its long-term debt load, and quickly emerge from bankruptcy as a much stronger company." The company has said it will close unprofitable restaurants but hasn't indicated how many it plans to shutter.
