Canopy Growth to divest its marijuana retail business

Canopy Growth Corp is divesting its Canadian marijuana retail business including stores operating under the Tweed and Tokyo Smoke banners. Licensee OEG Retail Cannabis will buy 23 Tokyo Smoke and Tweed stores and 420 Investments Ltd will purchase five corporate stores in Alberta. The marijuana producer’s license deal with Alimentation Couche-Tard for Tweed-branded stores has been canceled.
