Carl Icahn drops Kroger proxy fight over pregnant pigs

Carl Icahn has decided not to move ahead with a proxy fight intended to get Kroger to change its treatment of pregnant pigs. The activist investor, who lost a similar fight at McDonald's, said he was "disheartened" after that vote.
