Carl’s Jr. Introduces ‘Ghost Burger’ for Those Who Have Been Ghosted

Carl’s Jr. is honoring all who have been ghosted or who have ghosted someone by introducing a “Ghost Burger” for a limited time at all locations.

A press release explains the unique concept behind the new fast-food product: a “Ghost Burger.” Carl’s Jr. commemorates those who have been ghosted after a partner, friend, or employer cuts off communications. Or perhaps it’s the customer who’s done the ghosting. Whatever the reason, the fast-food giant will lift customers’ spirits by allowing them to tell their stories for Carl’s Jr. swag and freebies.

The “Ghost Burger” is available for anyone duped or dumped. Vice President of Marketing Anthony Nguyen writes of the limited-time product, “Nothing burns more than getting ignored or left on read, except for the mouth-numbing heat of our new burger, The Ghost. At Carl’s Jr., we see you, we hear you, and we want to give you burgers, swag and freebies to take your mind off of the burn from ghosting.” 

The Big Angus Ghost is 1/3-pound of charbroiled Angus beef, ghost pepper cheese, scorching sauce, applewood-smoked bacon, fresh tomato, onion, and lettuce on a soft toasted bun. For morning-after ghosting experiences, Carl’s Jr. is also introducing a new Ghost Breakfast Burger. It features a folded egg, bacon, Hash Rounds, ghost pepper cheese, and hot sauce.

Fifty winners will be selected randomly from among all eligible entries following the end of the sweepstakes period, and they will each receive a $50 Carl’s Jr. gift card and a tote bag. Failure to respond to any winner notification within 24 hours may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
