Carnival Cruise Line To Celebrate 55th Birthday With Meetups at Sea

Carnival Cruise Line is gearing up for its 55th birthday, and the popular cruise line has revealed that it will celebrate by giving the gift of partying to its loyal customers.

Cruise Industry News is reporting that the celebrations will kick off in 2027 and will be featured on 11 different cruises. The 55th birthday cruises offer itineraries of three to eight days, with stops at various locations in The Bahamas and the Caribbean.

Three special events will gather ships and their guests near Celebration Key and RelaxAway at Half Moon Cay. At every meetup, various ships will hold Lido deck birthday parties, with the Carnival Legend being part of two meetups. Guests can partake in themed activities, a special birthday cocktail, celebratory cakes, a Lido dessert buffet, and party games and trivia.

Carnival Cruise Line Under Fire for Raising Internet Rates

Recently, Carnival Cruise Line came under fire for raising its internet rates as high as 22% in some cases.

The famous cruise line covertly increased the prices for all three tiers of its Wi-Fi internet services — Social, Value, and Premium.

The increase in prices and the absence of prior warnings have caused dissatisfaction among numerous cruisers, as it means that guests are now required to pay greater daily rates, regardless of whether they buy the packages beforehand or while onboard.
