Chicago may require employers to pay workers sick leave

Roughly 80 percent of low wage workers in Chicago are not eligible for paid sick time. The city's Working Families Task Force is expected to recommend that employers be required to pay up to five days, depending on hours worked and time of service, for employees who are out sick.
