Chick-fil-A Is Bringing Back 3 Discontinued Fan Favorites — But Only for a Limited Time
January 3, 2025
Chick-fil-A has proven it has its finger on the pulse of what its customers want, announcing that it is bringing back three discontinued fan favorites in 2025, but only for a limited time starting on Jan. 7.
According to a press release, the Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich will make a brief comeback across the country. The sandwich, originally introduced in 2021, consists of a boneless chicken breast marinated with peppers and topped with Colby-Jack cheese on multigrain bread. A cilantro lime sauce, lettuce, and tomato are also included.
“Winter is a great time to bring back the Grilled Spicy Deluxe, a sandwich that packs the flavor in every layer, while bringing the spice our Guests crave at this time of year,” said Allison Duncan, director of menu and packaging at Chick-fil-A, in a statement.
The Key Lime Lemonade, which made its limited-edition debut in 2019, and the Key Lime Frosted Lemonade, which combines the lemonade with ice cream and key lime flavor, are also making a comeback.
The drinks “offer a cool and creamy complement and brighten up our menu offerings to beat those winter blues,” per the popular chicken franchise.
Chick-fil-A Previously Brought Back Holiday Favorites
Back in October, Chick-fil-A brought back some holiday favorites for its fans to enjoy. In honor of sweater season, Chick-fil-A returned its beloved comfort food, chicken tortilla soup, to the menu.
This hearty seasonal dish has a rich, creamy foundation made with shredded chicken breast, hefty black and navy beans, and a mix of vegetables and spices. For crunch, there are strips of crispy tortilla on top.
Additionally, the restaurant previously stated that the Peppermint Chip Milkshake, Peppermint Chip Iced Coffee, and Peppermint Chip Frosted Coffee returned on Nov. 18 for a limited period of time. According to the chain, the milkshake is a “hand-spun Chick-fil-A Icedream dessert with bits of peppermint bark chips combined for a cool and creamy holiday treat.”
“This year, we’re thrilled to offer more ways for families and friends to spend time together, with a shared meal of classic menu favorites and quality moments of connection with family and friends during the holidays,” said Khalilah Cooper, vice president of brand strategy, advertising, and media, in a statement announcing the items’ return. “We hope to make this season a little brighter and more memorable for our Guests, creating new reasons to get together and celebrate with loved ones.”
