Chipotle Gives Fans a Chance To Win Free Burritos for National Burrito Day

April 2, 2024

National Burrito Day is coming up on April 4, and Chipotle is rolling out the red carpet for all the burrito aficionados out there. If you’re a fan of this beloved Tex-Mex delight, mark your calendar because Chipotle is making it rain with free burritos.

Starting April 2, Chipotle lovers can dive into the Burrito Vault, an online game that could score you a buy-one-get-one code and the chance to snag free burritos for an entire year. That’s right, a whole year’s worth of burrito bliss.

So, what’s the deal with the Burrito Vault? It’s a digital word game where players have to guess two Chipotle order combinations ingredient by ingredient. With over 1.34 billion possible combinations, it’s no walk in the park. But hey, nothing worth having comes easy, right?

You’ll have from April 2 to April 3 at 12 p.m. PT to take your shot at cracking the vault. The first 50,000 players to unlock it will bag themselves a buy-one-get-one entrée code, valid for National Burrito Day on April 4. Successfully completing the word game also enters you into a sweepstakes where 53 lucky winners will score free burritos for a year. These fans will be randomly selected, according to Chipotle.

Chris Brandt, Chipotle’s chief brand officer, said the company created the Burrito Vault game to give its die-hard fans a chance to win big and experience the thrill of customization that Chipotle is known for. “With more than 1.34 billion possible burrito combinations at Chipotle, Burrito Vault shines a light on the versatility of Chipotle’s customizable menu,” the press release states.

And that’s not all — Chipotle is offering free delivery to rewards members on April 4 for online and app orders with the code “DELIVER.” So, whether you’re a burrito buff or just looking for a delicious deal, mark your calendars and get ready to celebrate National Burrito Day in style with Chipotle.
