Chipotle's new restaurant to help halve its carbon footprint by 2030

Chipotle Mexican Grill is testing a new restaurant design that the company believes can help it reach its goal of halving its greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. The new design uses all electrical equipment, biodegradable packaging and other methods to reduce its environmental impact. The chain has opened two prototype restaurants in Florida and Virginia with a third to debut this summer in Colorado.
