Super Saturday was huge this year as a shorter selling season heightened pressure on last-minute shoppers, but every year, many consumers plan for even bigger discounts on the days following Christmas. Today, shoppers returning gifts will find 50 percent-off apparel sales at Macy's, Target, Nordstrom and many other chains.
