Church’s Texas Chicken Expands Global Footprint Into Europe and Beyond

Church’s Texas Chicken is the latest fast-food chain to take its wares across the Atlantic, with plans to open 900 stores in Europe and beyond in the coming years.

Per a press release announcement, the parent company of the popular fast-food chain recently inked several development agreements, one of which was with a franchisee in Germany. This is a major turning point in the company’s expansion plan, with more agreements in other parts of Europe. The business is aiming for the UK, France, Italy, and Spain to build on this momentum.

“We are experiencing tremendous growth both domestically and internationally, with Europe playing a key role in our expansion strategy,” said Roland Gonzalez, CEO of Church’s Texas Chicken and Texas Chicken, in a statement accompanying the press release. “The European QSR market is evolving rapidly, driven by a growing demand for convenience and quick-service restaurant options. We see huge potential to bring the Texas Chicken experience to new guests across the continent, and this is just the beginning.”

Church’s Texas Chicken and Texas Chicken expanded their global presence by opening 60 new stores in 14 cities around the world over the last year. With more than 900 new locations anticipated over the next few years, Texas Chicken’s presence will expand into five new nations with the most recent development agreements: Germany, Hungary, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Morocco.

Church’s Texas Chicken Is Offering Lenten Deals

In honor of Lent, the restaurant chain announced that customers could get incredible discounts on popular dishes like the eight-piece shrimp, the Surf ‘n’ Turf (which mixes Classic Shrimp with crispy Tenders), and the Wild Alaskan Pollock Fish Sandwich.

• Wild Alaskan Pollock Fish Sandwich: For those craving a heartier seafood option, the Wild Alaskan Pollock Fish Sandwich is a must-try. This sandwich features a mild, flaky wild-caught Alaskan pollock fillet, coated in a crispy, golden Southern-style breading and served on a toasted brioche bun with creamy tartar sauce.
