Canada-based Alimentation Couche-Tard, owner of Circle K convenience stores, sold 229 stores in order to satisfy U.S. and Canadian regulators, but will pick up over 1,300 stores in both countries in its acquisition of CST Brands, operator of the Corner Store chain of convenience stores
