Columnist: Amazon HQ2-type switcheroos 'should be illegal'

Rick MossDerek Thompson, staff writer at The Atlantic, argues that the Amazon's controversial (and, allegedly, deceptive) campaign that pitted dozens of American cities against each other in a competition to be the home of the retailer's new headquarters raises a much larger question: Should cities be encouraged to spend billions of dollars of taxpayer money to steal jobs away from other regions?
