Court sides with McD's, at least for now, in bias suit brought by Black franchisees

A federal judge last week dismissed a lawsuit brought by 52 Black former franchise owners against McDonald's alleging that the fast food giant stacked the cards against them by placing their restaurants in low-income neighborhoods with high crime rates. The judge has given the former franchisees until Oct. 21 to file an amended complaint.
