COVID-19 is 'a few mutations away' from being vaccine resistant

The unwillingness by a large percentage of Americans to get vaccinated against COVID-19 is increasing the likelihood that a vaccine-resistant variant is not far away, according to the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other infectious disease experts.
