Cracker Barrel Adds New Seasonal Menu Items

Cracker Barrel has added new, seasonal menu items to a rotation of foods customers know and love.
In a company press release, Cracker Barrel shared seasonally inspired menu items that add warmth to the cozy fall and winter seasons. Today, Cracker Barrel guests can enjoy new offerings like Cinnamon Swirl French Toast and returning seasonal favorites like Country Fried Turkey.
Sarah Moore, Cracker Barrel’s chief marketing officer, stated in the release, “The holiday season is a time to celebrate joyous moments with those you love, and for our guests, there’s no better [place] to do that than at Cracker Barrel. We’re thrilled to usher in a holiday menu filled with returning guest favorites and new crave-worthy dishes decked out for the season. Whether our guests need a place to celebrate with friends and family or are looking for the perfect gift for that special person on their list, we’re here to lend a hand.”
What Are the New and Returning Menu Offerings for the Holiday Season at Cracker Barrel?
Cracker Barrel’s new menu offerings range from main dishes to desserts and breakfast items to catering options. These items include Cinnamon Swirl French Toast Breakfast: Cinnamon streusel bread, hand-dipped in Cracker Barrel’s signature batter and griddled golden brown, topped with rich cinnamon and cream cheese icings. Added to the satisfyingly sweet meal is a savory spin; two eggs, and either thick-sliced bacon or smoked sausage.
New to Cracker Barrel’s menu is a DIY Hot Chocolate Bar where hot chocolate is topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. This drink satisfies customer’s diverse tastes with an assortment of toppings, including holiday cheer sprinkles, chocolate morsels, and a peppermint candy stick. Finally, for the adults, Cracker Barrel has introduced a Sparkling Plum Mimosa, a sparkling wine paired with sweet winter fruit flavors and a sprinkle of edible gold glitter. It’s available by the glass or the pitcher throughout the holiday season.
For a limited time, other Cracker Barrel fan favorites are returning. These include the always popular Country Fried Turkey, where turkey fillets are hand-breaded and fried until crispy, topped with herbed pan gravy, and served with two country sides, cranberry relish, and homemade Buttermilk Biscuits or Corn Muffins. Also back on the menu is Cracker Barrel’s legendary Broccoli Cheese Casserole, where the green vegetable is mixed with cheese sauce and rice and topped with crushed cracker crumbles.
Returning beverages include Sugar Plum Tea, which is Cracker Barrel’s traditional freshly brewed iced tea, to which sweet winter fruits are added. Bottomless refills make this an extra-special deal for the busy holiday season. Finally, Cracker Barrel has its Homestyle Holiday Pies on deck, available now through Dec. 1, 2024. Varieties include Pumpkin, Cinnamon Roll, Apple Streusel, Pecan, and Chocolate Pecan, which are always available as whole pies and individual slices.
Cracker Barrel also offers an option for those households too busy to cook their holiday dinners. The restaurant’s Heat n’ Serve options have returned for the holiday season through the end of December. The eatery offers pickup for these meals from Nov. 23 through Dec. 1. Included is a Family Dinner which serves four to six and a larger offering named the Feast, which serves eight to 10.
Later in December, available for pickup Dec. 21-28, Cracker Barrel also offers a new Holiday French Toast Bake, their beloved Ham Feast, Prime Rib Family Dinner, and Ham Family Dinner. Plus, customers who pre-order and schedule an early pick up for Heat n’ Serve items will receive a free Digital Bonus Card for use at a later date.
