Credit Card Reform Law Threatens In-Store Instant Credit Approvals

Big retail brands such as Saks, Macy's and Best Buy are objecting to the Federal Reserve Board's proposed guidelines which would require that issuers consider an applicant's ability to repay the card loan before handing over instant in-store discounts and new accounts.
