CVS: PBMs Have Tools to Lower Rx Costs

CVS Caremark pointed to findings from three studies to demonstrate ways pharmacy benefit managers can improve patient adherence to medications and lower prescription drug costs at the same time. The company recently presented its findings at the 22nd Annual Meeting of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy.
