CVS Settles Record Dumping Suit with Texas

CVS Caremark has agreed to pay $315,000 to settle a suit with Texas over an incident where one of the chain's stores dumped customer information including financial and medical records into a garbage container. The chain said the store acted outside company procedure in its disposal of the records and corrective action has been taken.
