- Kroger has settled a lawsuit filed by C&S Wholesale Grocers earlier this year. C&S had filed the lawsuit as a result of the failed Kroger-Albertsons acquisition, through which it was slated to acquire almost “600 Kroger and Albertsons stores, distribution centers and other assets as part of a divestiture plan” (via Chain Store Age).
